Helpful Tip

In the event that your flat tire lowers your vehicle to the point where the jack can no longer slide under or if you are forced to pull over onto uneven terrain, you can create extra clearance by removing the jackpad from the jack and inserting that into the post first:

1.

Hold the swiveling top portion of the jack securely with 2 hands, but leave enough space for the rubber piece to slide out. Apply pressure with your thumbs and the jackpad should begin to slide.

2.

Continue applying pressure with your thumbs until the jackpad is completely removed.

3.

Locate the jack point opening and line up the jackpad to the opening.

4.

Insert the jackpad into the opening.

5.

After pushing the jackpad fully into the opening, the red o-ring will create enough retention to hold the pad in place.

6.

Line the slots on the jack with the jackpad and begin sliding it into position.

7.

Continue sliding the jack until the pad is flush with the mount and in its original position.
